What do you always have with ya? I find that I carry less and less with me when travelling. What do you consider essential?

      ditto. I've spent a year with this lady who walks the shoshone and pauite hoops. She's shared with me the necessities of survival and it's the knife and the fire bundle.

      a water filter is nice too.
